Seasonal Team Member - YHA Beer

Hours: Variable 25-42.5 hours per week
Pay: £11.44 per hour (This will rise to £12.21 in March in line with National Living Wage and applies to all, including those under the age of 21)
Accommodation: Staff accommodation is available at a rate of £63.70 per week

As a Hospitality Team Member, you'll play a key role in making our guests' experiences memorable. Your efforts will be at the core of our mission to provide exceptional hospitality.

What will you be doing as a Hospitality Team Member?
* Providing great customer service to all our customers, members and guests.
* Working on reception, offering insights about the hostel and the local area.
* Using both digital and paper based systems for efficient guest check-ins and check-outs, food and beverage sales and service.
* Carrying out housekeeping duties, ensuring a comfortable, clean environment for all visitors.
* Preparing food and serving food and drinks with genuine warmth and hospitality.
* Supporting the team with a range of other ad-hoc duties.
What Skills and Experience do you need to be a Hospitality Team Member?
* Experience of working face to face with customers
* Experience of working in a team
* Excellent timekeeping, with flexibility to cover different shifts
* Ability to manage varying pressures, including peaks in workload demands
* Knowledge and understanding of the core purpose of YHA
* Keen to reflect on performance and develop skills
* Working with awareness and a responsible attitude towards site safety and security
* Ability to work alone or without direct supervision
Please note our shifts include early mornings, evenings, and weekend working.
