Temporary General Retail Assistant - Notcutts Oxford Garden Centre
30 hours per week, to include some weekends and Bank Holidays (Working on a rota basis with the rest of the team)

Our Notcutts Oxford Garden Centre is looking for an enthusiastic retail and customer service assistant to work across different areas of our garden centre on a temporary 6 month contract.
This position will involve working within all indoor departments, this consists of building and creating the framework for our displays and restocking all areas of indoor departments. The ideal candidate will have experience of working within a retail environment. Some goods in and stock management knowledge will be useful, as the role will also include booking in stock deliveries and processing stock invoices on occasions, so if you have a good knowledge of working on computers this will be a bonus
Our ideal candidate will;
* Have previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a gardening/retail environment
* Have experience of using a computer, booking in processes.
* Have excellent people skills and ability to interact with a wide range of customer
* Have the experience and ability to upsell and cross sell across a comprehensive range of products
* Have previous experience with stock replenishment
* Be able to maintain shop floor, POS and pricing standards
* Be flexible and adaptable to change
* Be able to work effectively as part of a team and on their own
