Are you an experienced Systems Engineer with a passion for electro-mechanical design, complex instrumentation, and innovation? Join our team and play a key role in developing and supporting our market-leading product range—trusted by a global, blue-chip client base across multiple industries.
In this exciting System Engineering role, you’ll contribute to system design, integration, and continuous improvement across our electromechanical and electrochemical instrumentation. You’ll take a hands-on approach to troubleshooting, enhance system reliability, support New Product Introductions (NPI), and help shape the future roadmap of our technology.
You will collaborate closely with Engineering, R&D, Production, and Service teams, using your technical insight to drive quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. You will also engage directly with customers and internal teams, including providing training, technical support, and contributing to new feature development that keeps us ahead of competitors.
What You’ll Do
* Improve existing products to boost reliability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
* Design, test, and devlop complex electro-mechanical system integrations.
* Develop automated testing systems for monitoring instrument performance.
* Diagnose and resolve hardware and electronic issues within production and NPI units.
* Create and maintain technical documentation, including specifications, test reports, and ECNs.
* Contribute to new product development, from concept through prototype and testing.
* Partner with manufacturing to drive quality improvements and streamline build/test processes.
* Support global customers and internal service teams with expert technical guidance.

What You’ll Bring
* Degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electronics (or similar) with 3–5+ years’ relevant experience.
* Hands-on experience with electro-mechanical instrumentation and troubleshooting.
* Strong practical knowledge of PCBs, wiring, switches, sensors, motors, fuses, heaters and similar
* Ability to read schematics, analyse data, and diagnose system-level faults.
* Experience in materials properties, gas processing, or related industries (ideal).
* Experience with KiCAD, embedded electronics (I2C, SPI, MCU), or EMC/LVD testing (beneficial NOT essential).
* Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
* A proactive mindset, attention to detail, and the flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities.
* Willingness to travel occasionally.
