Days and times: Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm
The position is primarily office-based. While occasional remote working may be possible, it is not expected to form part of the regular working pattern.
The role requires flexibility to work at events during evenings, early mornings, and occasional weekends. Overtime during the week is compensated with time off in lieu, and weekend work is paid at an overtime rate.

JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an Events Assistant to join our busy creative floral events team. In this role you will support our senior designers bringing floral concepts to life. You will assist in planning, logistics and on-site management while gradually taking ownership of smaller events and clients.
TASKS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
* Supporting senior designers with creative concepts, creating event sheets for confirmed events and liaising with clients and venues on logistics across predominantly corporate and some private events.
* Helping to source props for larger events
* Taking ownership of and designing smaller events including onsite delivery overseeing freelance florists and crew.
* Building relationships with venues, caterers and clients.
* First point of contact for initial enquiries, keeping our CRM system up to date.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
* Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
* Passionate about events with some basic understanding of the industry. Ideally at least a year in an events role either client or supplier side.
* A love of flowers is essential and some knowledge is useful, but not essential.
* Highly organised and self-motivated.
* Creativity! Able to bring fresh ideas and adapt to different design styles or briefs with an excellent eye for detail.
* Able to work in a fast-paced environment and turn work around under tight deadlines.
* Strong people skills, with the ability to build a rapport with clients and other industry professionals.
* Telepathy and patience to be able to read some client’s minds…
