Skilled Careers is currently working with a multi-disciplinary consultancy that is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join their Reading office. This opportunity arises due to securing numerous projects, ensuring a robust pipeline of work.
The team structure emphasizes quality mentoring and coaching, aligned with your development as you expand your knowledge and experience.
Responsibilities:
* Attend client meetings
* Produce electrical design calculations and be proficient in Amtech, Dialux, and Relux
* Create designs using CAD and REVIT
* Present designs for stage and peer review
* Conduct condition surveys
* Perform third-party reviews of designs
* Manage contracts from inception to completion
* Gain experience across various sectors
The Reading team is well-established and successful, working on a diverse range of projects including:
* Theatres and Auditoria
* CAT A and B fit-outs
* Peer reviews for projects exceeding £100m
* Defence and Security projects
* Healthcare
* Overseas projects
Currently, we are working on 11 sites in Africa with additional projects in Serbia. Travel is not essential but can be arranged if of interest.
