Account Director – Digital Signage Job Description Linney is a world-class, multichannel marketing services business. Within our 220-strong creative agency, Linney Create, we are seeking an experienced Account Director to lead the growth of our digital signage managed service portfolio. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with a strong track record in B2B sales, particularly in the digital signage sector. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, driving revenue, and delivering innovative signage solutions across sectors such as retail, QSR, corporate, and public spaces. You’ll be skilled at understanding client and market challenges, helping clients achieve their goals and bring their brands to life through digital signage. You will confidently evaluate and respond to creative, technical, and support proposals and RFPs, creating opportunities and contributing to business growth. We’re looking for a motivated, adaptable professional with excellent communication and presentation skills, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to collaborate across teams. You’ll be calm under pressure, proactive, and a confident multi-tasker who delivers on time and exceeds expectations. Key Responsibilities •Own the overall sales strategy and commercial delivery within client contracts and project work •Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts •Develop and close proposals and tenders •Lead the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation •Collaborate with internal teams (technical, creative, operations) for seamless delivery •Deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations •Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy •Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships •Act as a trusted advisor, representing client needs internally •Provide accurate sales forecasts and pipeline updates •Represent the company at industry events and exhibitions Essential Experience and Skills •Proven success in securing large-scale managed service digital signage projects (content, software, hardware, maintenance, support) •Strong commercial drive and technical understanding of high-value, multi-million-pound signage projects •Excellent presentation and computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint) •Experience in a creative or digital signage agency environment •Demonstrated leadership and a commitment to exceeding expectations
