Length of employment: Job Summary: The Submarine Delivery Agency (SDA) is a part of the Ministry of Defence responsible for the procurement, in-service support, and disposal of the UK's nuclear submarines. Full Timer required minimum four days due to access to systems. Additionally, the security protocol of the site/ security requirements for the role stipulate that it should only be filled by one person on a full time basis. Job Description: The role is responsible for providing strategic governance, management and co-ordination of all programmes at a cyber facility in support of the continuous at-sea nuclear deterrent (CASD). The role ensures the facility remains operational, supported by dedicated staff and day to day activities discharged via a Facilities Management contract. The post holder will work closely with the wider Group Leader, to deliver all the required outputs to the customer. Key Responsibilities • Co-ordinate and manage the whole cyber facility programme to ensure it meets the requirements of the UK deterrent programme. Ensure the programme is coherent with all stakeholders including an international partner. • Ensure the integrity of the programme and make decisions on the direction of the programme. • Group lead for a multi-disciplined team of ~15 supporting the delivery of the location outputs with direct line management responsibilities for 4 posts. • Deputy Head of Establishment, provide a safe working environment at that meet statutory and regulatory Health and Safety requirements and responsible for all aspects of security. • Provide and support operational computer system platforms. • Manage contracts and procurement in support of all team business. • Provide business enabling support services and equipment to enable both MOD and contractor activities to be conducted efficiently and effectively. • Manage requirements, programmes, funding and commercial approvals to support the teams business. Influence acquisition strategy and align projects to the organisational vision.
