Position
PSV/HGV Engineer
Location: Blantyre, 5 Glasgow Road, G72 0LA
Contracted Hours: 37 per week (permanent, with overtime available)
Shifts: Nightshift 19:00‑06:00 (start and finish times can be discussed)
Pay Rate: £22.91 per hour
Bonuses: £2000 joining bonus (terms apply)
Key Responsibilities
* Diagnose and carry out vehicle repairs, servicing, and parts replacement
* Diagnose vehicle faults and specify the correct method of repair and parts to be used
* Carry out vehicle servicing and routine vehicle examinations using handheld data capture devices if applicable
* Attend on-road vehicle breakdowns and recoveries where required
* Carry out vehicle road testing where necessary to identify specific vehicle defects or following remedial repair
About You
* Minimum Level 3 NVQ/SVQ (or City & Guilds equivalent) qualification in vehicle maintenance and repair – PSV/HGV preferred
* Flexible approach to work with the ability to multi‑skill
* UK driving license holder; a PCV license is desirable but can be achieved with support
*Joining Bonus - terms apply. Available to new team members joining us for the first time or returning to us after more than 12 months.
