Mobile Plant Team Leader (Operations) An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual to join the Operations team at Lancashire Renewables Ltd. working at our Thornton facility. What youll be doing The Mobile Plant Team Leader (Operations) will be responsible for the management and safe operation of the waste facility with particular focus on mobile plant duties, operational leadership and people first line management. What you will bring To succeed in this role, you'll need: Proven experience in team leadership, including people management and development. Knowledge of mobile plant operations. Understanding of Standard Operating Procedures, Risk Assessments and Work Instructions. Work experience in a waste processing, manufacturing or similar industrial environment. Lancashire Renewables Ltd was established for the operation and management of the two waste treatment facilities built for the Lancashire Waste Contract. Our two facilities in Thornton and Leyland are manned 365 days a year. Both sites can process over 5,000 tonnes of residual (black bin bag) waste per week and divert 95% of this material away from landfill. Our aim is to achieve a sustainable future for Lancashire by providing services to process biodegradable and non-biodegradable community waste and our people are vital in helping us achieve this.
