About the roleAs an Electrician Apprentice, you’ll have the chance to learn and develop essential skills in the electrical trade. Throughout your apprenticeship, you’ll gain hands-on experience by working alongside qualified electricians. Your Responsibilities Responsibilities include but are not limited to the below Assisting with the installation of electrical systems and components in domestic, commercial, and industrial settings Supporting maintenance, testing, and repairs to ensure systems are safe and efficient Learning to read and interpret electrical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics Helping with troubleshooting and identifying faults in electrical systems and components Working collaboratively to ensure compliance with electrical regulations, safety standards, and building codes Carrying out routine inspections and maintenance on electrical installations Using a variety of tools and equipment safely to complete tasks Keeping accurate records and documentation of work completed About you To thrive on this programme, you’ll bring: An interest in building a career in the built environment Enthusiasm for learning and developing new skills A curious mindset and willingness to ask questions Dependable and professional in approach The ability to solve problems and think logically Strong organisational and time management skills Prioritising tasks to meet agreed deadline Qualifications: To be considered for this apprenticeship you will need to have achieved a Grade 4 or C and above in Maths and English You must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level than this apprenticeship in a similar subject.
