Role Overview
* Position Type: Contract (Outside IR35)
* Location: Fully Remote, UK-Based
* Rate: Up to £625 per day
Key Technical Requirements
Core Technical Skills
* Expert-level TypeScript and NodeJS development
* Deep understanding of backend development
* Proven experience with:
* NTLS (Network Time Security)
* JWT (JSON Web Tokens)
* JWE (JSON Web Encryption)
* OAuth protocols
* Strong security protocol implementation experience
Technical Depth Expectations
* Not just using security tools, but demonstrable experience in:
* Designing and implementing security architectures
* Building authentication and authorisation mechanisms
* Understanding cryptographic implementations
Additional Technical Preferences
* React knowledge (beneficial but not primary)
* Experience in retail banking or fintech sectors preferred
* Background in startup or high-growth technology environments
Leadership and Communication Skills
* Strong team lead capabilities
* Ability to:
