Who are we looking for?

Our growth and increasing client base has created a new opportunity for an experienced Team leader to join out Projects department and help deliver fire safety installation solutions. The job title that will be assigned is Projects Manager

The starting salary will be negotiable depending on experience within the role or the fire safety sector. This is a office based position, we do not offer remote working.

Responsibilities:

* Act as a point of contact with clients and external suppliers.
* Assist project teams with collating supply schedules from external parties.
* Coordinate scheduling of aprox 40 operatives.
* Resident and operative liaison.
* Support in the production of post-project management and client reporting.
* Escalate issues and project deviations to line Manager.
* Organise project documentation and store correctly.
* Assist with the administration of the stock inventory system.
* Update cost systems and issue supplier purchase orders.
* Provide quotes for clients and projects
* Administer quality review process for reporting execution.
* Consult with third party suppliers/clients for outstanding information.

* A strong customer service and administrative back ground is a must.
* A Keen eye for detail.
* Ability to retain client specific requirements.
* Hands on approach to work.
* Experience booking and scheduling opertives daily workloads.
* Communicating goals and deadlines to team members.
* Assessing team performance and providing feedback to employees.
* Planning workloads and delegating tasks, whilst undertaking a share of the workload.
* Driven and motivated individual who loves a challenge.
* Team player and willingness to get stuck in.
* Flexibility to react and adapt to rapidly changing scenarios.
* Driven approach to meet deadlines in line with compliance.
* Effective communication, including verbal and nonverbal.
* Strong organisation with an attention to detail.
* Ability to analyse, present information and make decisions.
* Resilience and positivity in challenging situations.
* Problem and conflict solving ability.
* Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office and Excel.
* Enjoy working in a fast paced environment.
* Able to work of own initiative.

Desirable:

* Experience in fire safety.
* Experience of the Boris scheduling system (on-site/mobile installations recording from smartphone/tablet) and smartsheets
* Creating a productive work environment for the team using gamification, trust and other appropriate strategies
* Assessing team performance and providing feedback to employees
* Assisting with hiring and training employees
