Job Description:
Fidarsi is partnering with an established Wealth Manager to recruit a Training and Competency Manager. This role involves supporting the HR team by managing the training and competency department.
Responsibilities include:
* Implementing and overseeing an effective Training & Competency Scheme
* Providing tools and support for employee compliance and development
* Ensuring investment managers hold appropriate qualifications for their asset classes
* Maintaining CPD and SPS records, liaising with training bodies and managers
* Managing relationships with training providers and arranging training sessions
* Collaborating with HR, Compliance, and Suitability teams to maintain regulatory records
* Conducting annual competency assessments for investment managers
* Handling regulatory referencing, onboarding, and rescreening
* Supporting annual employee appraisals
* Delivering new starter induction programs
* Managing online training programs and tracking completion
* Providing T&C Management Information for committees
* Training team members to cover absences
* Undertaking ad hoc projects as required
* Administering annual appraisals for SMCR and SMFs
* Organizing and reviewing mandatory training and assessments
* Participating in recruitment and talent management processes
* Designing blended learning and leadership programs
* Maintaining HRIS data accuracy
* Organizing FCA-compliant training sessions
Requirements:
* Strong relationship management and influence skills
* Excellent communication and organization skills
* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
* Knowledge of FCA regulations (TC, SYSC, COBs, APER, FIT)
* Previous experience in a similar role
