Night Team Leader – Deerswood Lodge
Salary: £15.36‑£16.00 per hour.
Hours: 36 hours per week.
Shift Times: 12‑hour night shifts (20:00‑08:00) on a 4‑week rota, including alternate weekends.
We seek a Residential Team Leader to support residents in Deerswood Lodge, a care home in Crawley, West Sussex, providing dementia and residential care for 90 residents.
Responsibilities
- Lead by example, providing guidance and support during shifts to promote best practice.
- Administer and record medication safely in line with policies and procedures.
- Report changes in residents' needs or well‑being promptly to the Line Manager.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families and colleagues.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date care plans and documentation.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience working with older people in residential care.
- Completed or working towards NVQ/QCF Level 3 Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
- Flexible, patient, caring, organised, with strong people skills.
- Ability to lead a team and take initiative.
