ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT STOCKPORT PERMANENT - UP TO £30K DOE This global manufacturing company is looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their Stockport office. Duties include: Processing sales ledger invoices & credit notes daily and maintaining the sales ledger Credit control chasing payments by email and telephone Processing purchase invoices matching delivery notes and maintaining the purchase ledger Supplier statement reconciliation Posting and allocating bank receipts and payments to the sales and purchase ledgers Daily bank reconciliation Dealing with internal and customer queries daily. General office duties including filing and answering the telephone. Maintaining the fixed asset register Opportunity to learn and assist in the Group month end procedures, including the preparation of the monthly P&L and balance sheets. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years experience within a similar role and will be studying or have completed AAT. You must have strong Excel skills including pivot tables and V Lookups and knowledge of Sage 200 is beneficial but full training will be provided if you have used similar systems.
