Salary: £16.15 per hour (from 1st Jan 2026) + incentives
Hours: Full Time, 7am7pm (3 shifts one week, 4 the next, including alternate weekends)

Your Responsibilities as a Senior Care Assistant Provide high-quality personal, emotional, and dementia care
Promote dignity, independence, and choice
Lead and support the care team during day shifts
Complete safe and accurate medication rounds
Maintain clear documentation and daily care records
Assist with care planning and handovers
Support team training, one-to-ones, and development
Uphold best practice and escalate concerns appropriately
Essential Requirements NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or Registered Nurse qualification)
Minimum 2 years experience as a Senior Care Assistant in a residential or nursing home
Experience with person-centred care planning
Confident team leader with strong communication skills
Understanding of safeguarding and preventing abuse
Must live within 30 minutes of the care home
Full UK right to work no sponsorship available
Preferred Requirements NVQ Level 4 in Adult Health & Social Care
At least 1 year of dementia care experience
Experience conducting one-to-one staff meetings
Knowledge of National Care Standards Act 2000
