Senior Lecturer in Professional Development (permanent 0.6FTE)
Chester Business School is seeking to appoint a Senior Lecturer in Professional Development (permanent 0.6FTE) to join the current academic team.
The successful candidate will contribute to teaching and curriculum development in our doctoral and professional development programmes, support partner stakeholders, and play a significant role in programme management and development. They will also undertake research in their discipline and contribute to the Business School's enterprise activities. Candidates should hold a Doctorate and Masters qualification, with experience in higher education teaching. Candidates with commercial, industrial, research experience, or professional qualifications (e.g., CIM or DMI) are encouraged to apply.
The post-holder should be committed to student success, with experience supporting students both pastorally and academically. We are particularly interested in applicants with expertise in professional development, research methods, ethics, leadership, research design, and supervision. The role involves contributing to doctoral, postgraduate, and undergraduate teaching, learning, assessment, and supporting our research ambitions within the Department and School. The position is within the Division of Marketing and Professional Development at Chester Business School.
