Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Sutton Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term Start Date: Immediate / Ongoing About the Role: Protocol Education is looking for a motivated and caring SEN Teaching Assistant to join schools across Sutton. This is a rewarding opportunity to support children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them to progress academically, socially, and emotionally in a nurturing environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 and group support for pupils with SEN, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and communication needs. Assist teachers in adapting lessons and resources to meet diverse pupil needs. Encourage independence, positive behaviour, and participation. Support pupils’ emotional and social development. Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment. Requirements: Experience supporting children with SEN in schools or similar settings. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. A patient, proactive, and empathetic approach. Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team.
