Job Title: Caretaker
As a Caretaker, you'll be working within the Workplace Solutions, Facilities Management Team, supporting them in ensuring service delivery is to a high standard. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
1. Reporting building maintenance issues through the Kier Helpdesk.
2. Carrying out building fabric repairs, adjustments, maintenance, installations, and removals.
3. Unblocking toilets, changing light bulbs, changing locks, and painting.
4. Accepting deliveries and distributing parcels.
5. Conducting daily, weekly, and monthly safety checks and PPMs as required.
You should be able to communicate effectively with clients and staff. Previous experience in a caretaker/porter role is desired but not essential. Strong DIY skills, a positive and personable attitude, and a willingness to work with a friendly team to make a difference in your local community are important qualities for this role.
