The role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will support a student on a 2:1 basis to enable access to learning both at Wilden View and off-site activities. Willingness or ability to participate in practical activities would be advantageous.
You will establish a warm, caring, and supportive relationship with the student to help them feel safe, enjoy learning, and promote independence and personal development.

Skills and Qualifications:
* Working towards Level 2 award in Support work in schools or equivalent (desirable)
* GCSE Maths and English Level 2/C or above (essential)
* Understanding of safeguarding principles and child protection procedures
* Experience working with SEMH learners with complex needs and challenging behaviour in a school environment
* Commitment to the role, child-first approach, and treating each child as an individual
* Positive and creative in meeting pupils’ needs
* Full clean driving license
