Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. Reporting to the landlord & head chef, the ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality, ensuring that both staff and guests feel valued and engaged. This role requires a blend of operational management, communication skills and leading by example, including adopting a 'hands on' approach to the bar & restaurant service as required. Required shifts include Friday & Saturday evenings & Sunday lunch. Additionally some weekday and holdiday shift cover.
Duties
* Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring high standards of service.
* Organise daily restaurant table plans to ensure smooth operation during busy shifts.
* Train staff, fostering a positive team environment while supervising front-of-house activities, promoting up-selling and welcoming customers.
* Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, enhancing guest satisfaction.
* Cellar & stock management.
Experience
* Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
* Demonstrated supervisory experience with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
* Previous experience in bar and barista duties is advantageous but not essential.
* Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service and team collaboration.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.21-£13.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
