What Youll Be Doing
* Taking charge of the kitchen during service, especially in theHead Chefs absence
* Supporting menu development with bold, inspired ideas that fit Beiras vibe
* Training and mentoring junior chefs on technique, consistency, and pace
* Managing stock, supplier orders, and daily prep with an eye on quality and cost
* Monitoring portion sizes and food waste to keep operations sharp
* Owning standards in food hygiene, health & safety, and kitchen cleanliness
* Helping to maintain a smooth, efficient back-of-house thats built on mutual respect
What Were Looking For
Essential
* At least 2 years of experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar leadership role
* Proven ability to run a busy kitchen with calm, control, and clarity
* Passion for high-quality, flavour-led food
* Experience managing stock, prep, and day-to-day kitchen systems
* Strong organisational skills, clean working habits, and a team-first mentality
* Fluent in English

* A love forglobal cuisine, modern street food, and inventive dishes
* Up-to-date with food trends and seasonal produce
* Creative flair and an eye for clean, striking presentation
* Confident using kitchen software and ordering systems (Excel, Word, digital platforms)
