Mobile Technician (Environmental)

Reporting to: Senior Mobile Technician (Environmental)

About the Role
Dalkia is looking to recruit a Mobile Environmental Technician to support our commercial and industrial contracts across the Manchester area. This role focuses on Legionella PPM, monitoring, and compliance works, ensuring our customers’ water systems remain safe, compliant, and well maintained. You will work independently across multiple sites, delivering a high standard of service while representing Dalkia professionally with our clients.
Key Responsibilities
1. Carry out Legionella PPM and associated works in line with ACOP L8, BS 6700, and Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations
2. Hot and cold water temperature monitoring
3. Shower head cleaning and disinfection
4. Calorifier temperature checks, base flushing, and internal inspections
5. Water sampling
6. Tank and down service disinfection and chlorination
7. TMV testing
8. Dead-leg removal
9. Cold water tank replacement (non-plumbing), lining, and inspections
10. Cooling tower cleaning and disinfection
11. Completion of job sheets and reports using PDA systems
