Main duties of the job
As a Senior Care Assistant, your focus will be to support and work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff. Other responsibilities include monitoring residents' wellbeing, participating in person-centred care planning, supporting with medication, supervising staff, and acting as a key contact.

About the role: Your focus will be supporting the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care in a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment. Other responsibilities include:
* Monitoring residents' wellbeing and updating care plans as needed.
* Participating in person-centred care planning and evaluations.
* Supporting residents with medication.
* Supervising and supporting staff development.
* Being a key contact for residents, relatives, visitors, and health professionals, ensuring requests and concerns are addressed.
About you
To succeed, you should embody our values of caring, support, honesty, respect, and accountability. Our ideal candidate:
* Holds an NVQ Level 3 or Level 2 NVQ in care for care homes.
* Has at least 2 years of experience in a similar care environment.
* Communicates effectively in writing and verbally.
* Supports and nurtures residents and staff positively.
* Is flexible and responsive to responsibilities.
Additional requirements
* A DBS Disclosure check (cost covered by Avery Healthcare).
* Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
