1:1 Support Need Assistant (PR2, Fulwood) Contract: full time long term Start date: September 2026 Hours: 08:45 – 3:20pm; Monday – Friday Pay: £14.25 per hour Teaching personnel are looking to recruit a support needs assistant on mainstream Primary school within the Preston area. The school is above average for those with SEND. The headteacher of the school praises their collaborative approach to school life and values the uniqueness of the community to shape their children into resilient young people.The school grounds also hold ample on-site parking.The role The successful candidate will have the amazing opportunity to work closely with a child who will be in Y5 from September 2026; who has SEMH (Social Emotional Mental Health). This will involve following a support plan that will be put into place by the class teacher and having the ability to differentiate the approach to meet the needs of the child. You will provide a safe environment for the child to learn and build confidence; including creating and maintain positive, nurturing relationships.
