Our Corby office in the UK is currently seeking a highly motivated and experiencedHead of IT & Digital Enablement to join our dynamic team.
As Fulkrum’s first internal IT leader, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our technology landscape. Initially managing external service providers, you’ll transition us toward a scalable internal IT model. You’ll lead IT governance, systems integration, cyber security, and service delivery across our international operations. This is a unique opportunity for a hands-on senior engineer or systems administrator to step into a strategic leadership role and make a lasting impact.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage Fulkrum’s global IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, scalability, and alignment with business needs.
* Oversee external IT service providersand develop a roadmap to transition toward a fully functional internal IT team.
* Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and standardsthat meet operational, regulatory, and compliance requirements across all regions.
* Ensure full compliance with GDPR, ISO standards (27001, 27002, etc.), and global cyber regulations, including leading certification processes.
* Design and implement a comprehensive Information Security Management System (ISMS)and establish breach protocols, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans.
* Lead integration of business systemsacross HR, finance, CRM, and operations platforms, managing complex transformation projects globally.
* Recruit, onboard, and mentor IT professionals, building a high-performing team to support Fulkrum’s international operations.
* Monitor system performance, security, and compliance, using metrics and reporting tools to inform leadership and drive continuous improvement.
* Research and implement AI and emerging technologiesto enhance operational efficiency, innovation, and data-driven decision-making.
* Manage IT assets, procurement, licensing, and vendor relationships, ensuring cost-effective and secure service delivery
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience in senior IT roles (e.g., IT Manager, Infrastructure Lead).
* Strong technical knowledge in networking, cloud computing, cyber security, and Microsoft 365.
* Experience with ISO 27001 certification and ISMS leadership.
* Skilled in managing external IT vendors and service providers.
* Excellent communicator with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
* Project management experience in system implementation or transformation.
* Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field; certifications like ITIL, CISSP, or CompTIA are a plus.
* Experience in multinational environments is desirable.
* Self-starter with the ability to work independently and build IT structures from the ground up.
