Position
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Health and Safety Adviser to join our Occupational Health and Safety Team based at Ailsa Hospital.
What You Will Do
You will provide operational level input to support the Service Lead and Advisers in driving forward the organisation’s Health and Safety agenda across a diverse range of work activities. Your tasks will include supporting statutory requirements and delivering key organisational objectives.
Knowledge, Training and Experience
We require a team member who can produce clear and concise written reports on adverse event reviews, audits, performance programmes, and statistical analysis. You will assist in developing and reviewing Health, Safety, and Wellbeing policies and procedures. You must be able to influence key stakeholders within the organisation’s complex structure and provide support to managers and staff at all levels. You must hold or be working towards a NEBOSH General Certificate or have substantive experience in a relevant field. Previous attendance on an instructor/key worker course in Moving and Handling, Violence and Aggression Training is advantageous but not required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential.
Hours
37 hours per week.
Driving Licence
A UK car licence/car ownership is essential.
