Working Hours:
8:00am – 4:50pm Monday – Thursday
8:00am – 12:15pm Friday- (36.75 hours per week)
Job Description:
The Mill/Turn Programmer/Setter/Operator will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC mill/turn machines to produce precision components to engineering drawings and quality standards.
Key responsibilities include:
* Programming, setting, and operating CNC mill/turn machines
* Producing components to tight tolerances and quality requirements
* Working from detailed engineering drawings
* Machining small batch and one-off precision components
This Mill/Turn Programmer/Setter/Operator role offers varied work and the opportunity to support high-precision manufacturing within a professional engineering environment.
Skills & Experience:
To be successful in this Mill/Turn Programmer/Setter/Operator role, you should have:
* Experience programming, setting, and operating CNC mill/turn machines
* Strong CNC turning experience with live tooling
* Experience with either Fanuc, Mazak, or Siemens controls
* Ability to read and work from engineering drawings independently
* Experience working in a high-precision machining environment
* Ability to work to tight tolerances
* Apprentice trained machinist (advantageous)
