Responsibilities
* Overseeing the day‑to‑day operations of the kitchen, ensuring all stations are properly organised and prepared for service.
* Supervising and training junior chefs, promoting a positive and collaborative working environment.
* Ensuring food safety standards are always adhered to, including proper storage, handling, and cooking techniques.
* Monitoring inventory levels and managing food costs to meet financial targets.
* Supporting the Head Chef in maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and responding to guest feedback.
* You will have the ability to create a culture of support and actively encourage teamwork.
* Willingness to challenge if standards aren't meeting required levels.
* A chef with a passion for great food and service.
Qualifications
* Understands the importance of working with a branded menu.
* Experience of managing orders, food stocks, and forecasting against occupancy.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changing requirements.
* Good financial knowledge with the ability to manage costs in line with the department's budget.
