Integra Education are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support a pupil within an alternative provision setting in Leeds. This is a rewarding opportunity to support a pupil on a personalised learning pathway and make a meaningful impact on their educational journey.
About the Role:
You will be working closely with a pupil in a supportive, alternative provision environment, helping to deliver engaging and tailored learning experiences. The role requires someone who is proactive, adaptable, and passionate about supporting young people to achieve their potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver and support tailored learning activities
Build a positive relationship with the pupil
Adapt teaching approaches to meet individual needs
Support the pupil’s academic and personal development
Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment in line with safeguarding procedures
Essential Requirements:
HLTA qualification or equivalent
Proven experience working with pupils in an educational setting
Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Desirable:
Experience working with pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
