Teaching Assistant - Secondary School | March 2026 Start Location: Weston-Super-Mare Contract: Full-time (Monday-Friday) Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm Salary: Competitive (Dependent on Experience) A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and supportive Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and well-established secondary school in Weston-Super-Mare. This full-time role, starting in March 2026, is ideal for someone passionate about supporting young people academically, emotionally, and behaviourally. At times, you will also work in the school's Behaviour Room, supporting students who require additional help to regulate, refocus, and reintegrate into lessons. This is a key part of the school's pastoral provision and is ideal for someone patient, calm, and confident working with challenging behaviours when needed. Your role will involve a mix of in-class support, 1:1 sessions, small-group work, and behaviour-based support.
