We are buzzing to find a dedicated SEND Teacher to join a fantastic school in Canterbury, working closely with students who face Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges. Contract: Full time, October start
Salary: £168.80 - £232.57 Per day
Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver innovative, engaging lessons tailored to individual needs.
* Create a nurturing and supportive classroom environment.
* Encourage independence, communication, and resilience in pupils.
* Assessing each student’s progress against individual targets and adapting strategies as needed.
What We’re Looking For
* A qualified teacher status (QTS) with a big heart and a passion for SEND education.
* Experience teaching or supporting students with SEMH or SEND difficulties.
* Someone who is resilient, adaptable, and ready to embrace the challenges and rewards of this unique role.
* Managing potential challenges, including emotional or behavioural difficulties, with patience and resilience.
