SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Littlehampton, West Sussex
Start Date: September 2025
Daily Rate: £90 – £110 (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-Time | Long-Term
Are you a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant with experience supporting children with special educational needs? A welcoming primary school in Littlehampton is seeking a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025.
About the Role:
* Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN
* Assist with classroom activities and adapt learning materials as needed
* Support the class teacher in managing behaviour and promoting inclusion
* Monitor pupil progress and help with personalised learning plans
* Work closely with the SENCO and other professionals
✅ Requirements:
* Relevant experience working with children with SEN ( autism, ADHD, speech & language)
* A patient, nurturing and flexible approach
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* A commitment to safeguarding and supporting all learners
