JobDescription:
Asa valued member of our clients highly successful Agriculture andEstates team you ll contribute to their ambitious growth plans forthe future. Working under the leadership of highly respectablelawyers you ll engage in a diverse range of rural legal mattersincluding but not limitedto:
* Sales and acquisitionsof agricultural property and land (including options coverages andpreemption agreements)
* Agriculturaltenancies
* Sporting and fishingrights
* Banking and refinancing ofagricultural properties
* Residentialconveyancing and tenancy advice for farming and estateclients
* Business structures andjoint venture/collaborativeagreements
* Diversificationissues
* Successionplanning
* Collaborating with thewider Private Client and tax teams on matters such as wills trustplanning probate and taxadvice
* Handling renewable energy andnatural capital schemes
* Addressingissues related to the basic payment scheme agrienvironment andEnvironmental Land Management Scheme(ELMS)
Yourresponsibilities willinclude:
* Draftingnegotiating and finalising documentation for property transactionsdeeds of easement and other propertyrelateddocuments
* Managing smallertransactions independently and collaborating with team members onlarger transactions
* Participating inclient meetings and liaising with other lawfirms
* Attending business developmentevents
Requirements
Weare seeking a dynamic and forwardthinking NQ3 years PQE whopossesses a genuine passion for rural matters and a keen interestin agricultural law. Strong attention to detail is essential toconsistently produce highquality work/documentation. Flexibility inapproach is required to meet client deadlines and maintainconsistent communication with clients. An aptitude for and interestin business development isdesirable.
While prior experience inagricultural law is advantageous it is not mandatory. Candidateswith a solid background in Private Client or Property law coupledwith a desire to specialise in Agriculture and Estates areencouraged toapply.
