This is a unique opportunity to launch two of Marriotts most dynamic brandsAloft, known for its bold design and social energy, and Residence Inn, crafted for longer stays and residential comfortin one vibrant destination. Position Summary As General Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the pre-opening, launch, and ongoing operations of this flagship property. Youll serve as the strategic business leader, ensuring operational excellence, brand integrity, and a culture that empowers associates and delights guests. What Youll Do Lead all pre-opening activities: hiring, training, systems implementation, brand standard alignment, and operational setup. Drive operational excellence across both brands, ensuring distinctive guest experiences that align with Alofts lifestyle identity and Residence Inns extended-stay ethos. Build, lead, and inspire a high-performing team with a focus on associate engagement and retention. Collaborate with Marriott discipline leaders, ownership, and stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment and performance goals. Manage financial performance, revenue strategies, and cost controls to maximize profitability. Actively promote the property within the local market and community, building strong partnerships and brand awareness. Candidate Profile Education & Experience: Previous experience as a General Manager or senior hotel leader in a branded hotel environment. Pre-opening or conversion experience is highly desirable. Strong understanding of Marriott systems and tools (e.g., Opera/FOSSE, MARSHA, GXP, CI/TY).
