Overview
Area Sales Manager Plumbing & Heating Products — Regional Sales Manager Gas Analysers. Area to be covered: South West & South Wales. Postcodes: SA, LD, CF, NP, HR, WR, CL, OX, SN, BS, BA, SP, SO, PO, BH, DT, TA, EX, TQ, PL, TR.
Remuneration: £50,000 + £10,000 - £20,000 uncapped commission. Benefits: Tesla model 3 expensed car & comprehensive benefits packages.
Responsibilities
* Sell a manufactured range of flue gas and engine exhaust analysers.
* Spend the majority of time selling to M&E contractors, social housing, gas engineers/installers, and plumbing & heating contractors.
* Spend the remaining time managing or selling into national and independent plumbers merchants (e.g., City Plumbing, UKPS, Wolseley).
* Inherit a well-established area turning over circa £1m.
* Regularly update the CRM system.
Ideal candidate / Qualifications
* Ideally have field sales experience in the plumbing & heating, HVAC, or electrical market sectors.
* Ideally have sold to distributors, merchants, contractors, social housing, gas engineers, installers, and plumbing & heating contractors.
* Open to candidates such as Assistant Branch Manager, Branch Manager, or engineers seeking a move to field sales.
* Ideally have product backgrounds in gas pipes, gas boilers, heat pumps, flexible gas hoses, gas installation hoses, ventilation ducting/ducts, ventilation systems, air conditioning units, heat recovery, pumps, valves and plumbing & heating (not essential).
