Job Description
* Perform regular maintenance and inspections of equipment and facilities to ensure optimal functionality.
* Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues efficiently.
* Collaborate with the operations team and engineering team to minimise downtime and maintain productivity.
* Experience creating and adhering a Total Productive Maintenance plan and other Preventive Maintenance schemes.
* Experience in continuous improvement from a maintenance and engineering perspective - exposure to new machinery or new site commissioning is always a plus!
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance tasks and completed repairs.
* Implement preventative maintenance schedules to reduce equipment failures.
* Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment as needed.
* Provide technical support and guidance to other team members.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Maintenance Engineer should have:
* Relevant qualifications in engineering or a related field.
* Proven expertise in maintaining and repairing mechanical and electrical systems.
* Proven experience in working within a TMP or PM plans within food manufacturing.
* Familiarity with health and safety standards in the manufacturing sector.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* Proficiency in using maintenance tools and diagnostic equipment.
