Support Worker
We are seeking caring and reliable Support Workers to provide high quality home care and companionship to clients in their own homes.
Position: Support Worker
Salary: £ per hour
Location: Raunds, Northamptonshire
Hours: Part time, mornings, evenings and alternate weekends
Contract: Permanent
Closing Date: Ongoing
About the role
This is a rewarding opportunity to support individuals to live independently in their own homes. You will deliver personalised care during minimum one hour visits, building meaningful relationships with clients and making a genuine difference to their daily lives.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Providing personal care with dignity and respect
2. Supporting with medication
3. Preparing meals and assisting with nutrition
4. Carrying out light housekeeping tasks
5. Accompanying clients to appointments or on errands
6. Supporting clients with morning and evening routines
7. Offering companionship and meaningful conversation
8. Ensuring clients remain safe, comfortable and independent at home
About you
You will be a compassionate and dependable individual who enjoys supporting others.
You will have:
9. A caring and empathetic approach
10. Good communication and interpersonal skills
11. A positive attitude and willingness to learn
12. Reliability and flexibility, including working alternate weekends
13. A full UK driving licence and access to your own transport
No formal qualifications are required as full training is provided.
