Job Description
We are seeking a friendly and customer-focused Lounge Host to join our team in Glasgow, United Kingdom. As a Lounge Host, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable experience in our exclusive lounge facilities.
* Welcome and greet guests upon arrival, ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere
* Provide exceptional customer service, anticipating and fulfilling guest needs
* Serve food and beverages, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
* Keep the lounge area clean, tidy, and well-stocked at all times
* Process guest requests and resolve any issues promptly and efficiently
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food and beverage service
* Monitor and replenish buffet items as needed
* Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations
Qualifications
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner
* Strong customer service orientation and a genuine desire to exceed guest expectations
* Keen attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
* Effective time management and organisational skills
* Basic computer literacy for operating point-of-sale systems and guest databases
* Knowledge of food and beverage service practices
* Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Food hygiene certificate is desirable
* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
* Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
* A smart and well-groomed appearance
* UK Work Permit
