The Role Our client is seeking an experienced Commercial Property Legal Secretary to provide high-quality administrative and secretarial support to a busy team of fee earners in the Chester office. This role would suit someone who thrives in a professional yet approachable environment, enjoys taking initiative, and is confident managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting. Key Responsibilities: * Opening and maintaining client files in line with risk management procedures * Assisting fee earners with file creation, drafting statements, and liaising with clients * Preparing client care correspondence and other documentation * Managing client attendance for routine instructions and signing appointments * Conducting property searches through Searchflow or directly with relevant authorities * Using the HM Land Registry portal for downloading official copies, plans, and carrying out searches * Handling post-completion registration and SDLT formalities * Preparing invoices, completion statements, and accounts documentation under supervision * Audio typing, copy typing, and document preparation using various precedents and templates * Managing correspondence and ensuring all work is accurate and well-presented * Handling general client enquiries via email and telephone About You The ideal candidate will bring professionalism, organisation, and a positive, team-focused attitude. You’ll have a proven track record as a Commercial Property Legal Secretary and the confidence to support fee earners with accuracy and efficiency.
