Role: Supply Chain Planner Location: South Kirkby Salary: £30,000pa - £35,000pa, depending on experience Hours: Monday-Friday, 8.30am - 5.00pm About the Role: Our rapidly growing client is seeking a talented, driven, and highly motivated Supply Chain Planner to join their established team in South Kirkby. Key Responsibilities of the Supply Chain Planner: Manage the planning and scheduling of raw materials, ensuring stock is ordered in line with operational requirements. Organise the booking of frozen stock into external storage facilities and liaise with stakeholders to ensure smooth logistics. Maintain accurate records by confirming supplier purchase orders and updating relevant systems. Monitor short shelf-life items daily, reporting on any risks or issues to protect stock integrity. Process stock adjustment requests, such as increases or decreases, in a timely and efficient manner. Calculate requirements for return loads and coordinate these effectively with suppliers and logistics teams. Collaborate with production teams to align raw material planning with specialist processing and scheduling needs. Track supply levels, highlight any shortages or intake issues and escalate potential risks to the wider team. Act as a first point of contact for incoming calls, ensuring customer needs are understood and responded to promptly. Support colleagues across the team by providing holiday and absence cover, as well as assisting with ad-hoc tasks set by management.
