The Role: As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of multiple client payrolls across a range of sectors and complexities. Key Responsibilities: Process weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls for a diverse client portfolio. Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations and RTI submissions. Administer auto-enrolment and pension contributions. Manage starters, leavers, and adjustments including SSP, SMP, and other statutory payments. Liaise with clients to resolve payroll-related queries promptly and professionally. Prepare payroll reports and maintain accurate payroll records. Person Specification: Proven experience in a payroll role within an accountancy practice or bureau environment. Strong knowledge of current payroll legislation and best practice. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Proficient in payroll software (e.g. BrightPay, Sage Payroll, or similar). Confident communicator with a client-focused approach.
