Specific responsibilities include:
* Provide technical Pensions Administration services to clients, calculate and pay scheme benefits.
* Train and mentor junior staff, supporting their technical knowledge and understanding.
* Check and authorize work of team members.
* Apply benefit structures, trust deed & rules, and pensions legislation.
* Support the Administration Manager to meet departmental deadlines.
* Handle queries from HMRC and DWP; liaise with clients, scheme actuaries, and third parties confidently.
* Ensure compliance with legislative requirements.
* Respond to technical queries from members via phone, email, and letter.
