Alderley Edge Hockey Club: Head of Junior Coaching
We are actively seeking a dedicated individual for the exciting new role of AEHC Junior Head Coach.
Are you the person we’re looking for?
The successful applicant will:
1. Lead Sunday Junior training sessions for U7 to U12s across all abilities.
2. Develop the junior training and development programme.
3. Support volunteer parent helpers by mentoring and sharing coaching plans and resources, working with the Section Head to implement the vision and practice for junior hockey.
Additional responsibilities may include other areas of support to enhance the section.
You will be expected to hold the appropriate qualifications: Coaching (EH Level 2 or equivalent), DBS, safeguarding, and first aid.

Alderley Edge Hockey Club, founded in 1888, has EH Talent Centre and Club Mark Status.
We have 6 Men’s teams, 7 ladies, Junior sides, Masters teams, Walking hockey, and Back 2 Hockey. Our commitment to quality coaching and organic growth has resulted in a successful and inclusive club passionate about the sport. Training sessions are held at The Edge Hockey Centre, with matches played at The Kings School, Macclesfield.
AEHC is renowned for its successful junior section, welcoming players aged 5 and upwards, nurturing and developing their skills to bring out their best.
All juniors are encouraged to participate in Saturday matches (NW Consortium league), Sundays (C&GM League), and EH age group competitions/NW leagues. In season 24/25, our GU10 team reached the IN2H NW finals, and our GU12 team reached the IN2H National finals.
