Specialist Physiotherapist in Frailty – LR225503

NHS Grampian – Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, NHS Scotland
Contract Details
Band 6 Permanent post – 37 hours per week.
Responsibilities
* Provide MDT and medical/frailty pathway assessment and management expertise.
* Facilitate early discharges in a diverse patient cohort with complex comorbidities.
* Deliver care across wards and support the newly developing 7‑day service, including weekends.
* Collaborate closely with MDT and apply the home first principles.
* Participate in the development of a new service and drive service provision.
Qualifications
* Registered Physiotherapist with clinical competence in frailty and medical pathways.
* Experience managing patients with multiple complex comorbidities.
* Strong communication and interprofessional collaboration skills.
* Highly motivated, flexible and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
