Schools in Sheffield (S2, S3), along with GSL Education, are seeking a committed RE Teacher to support pupils in developing critical thinking, cultural awareness, and moral understanding. In this role, the Religious Education (RE) Teacher will deliver engaging lessons that foster discussion, reflection, and curiosity, while creating an inclusive classroom where students feel confident to share ideas and explore diverse perspectives. What the Position Involves: Deliver well-structured RE lessons aligned with the curriculum. Encourage open discussion and respectful debate. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback. Work collaboratively with colleagues to support wider school objectives. What We’re Looking For: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification. Experience working as an RE Teacher in a school setting. Strong classroom management and communication skills. A commitment to safeguarding and supporting learners of all abilities. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
