Job Advert: Junior Sous-Chef
Are you a talented and ambitious chef looking to take the next step in your career? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Junior Sous-Chef to join our team in Andover. We are a bustling kitchen known for our high-quality, modern cuisine and we're looking for a passionate individual to help us maintain our exceptional standards.
Location: Andover
Salary: Competitive, mid-range salary based on experience. Working Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM OR 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM
Responsibilities
* Work closely with the Head Chef and Sous-Chef, learning and growing within a supportive environment.
* Assist with daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, managing sections, and ensuring all dishes are executed to perfection.
Qualifications
* References: A stable work history with few gaps in your references is preferred, as all candidates will undergo vetting.
* Proven experience working in a professional kitchen.
* A strong passion for food and a desire to learn.
* The ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* A positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
* A successful enhanced DBS check is a condition of employment.
