Support Officer – Real Estate

£30,000 – £35,000 pa plus benefits.
cer Financial are working alongside a bank who are based in the City of London. They are seeking a Support Officer within the Banks Property Development function to work with them on a permanent basis.
The role of the Support Officer is responsible for supporting the Case Management Team with the Pre-Due Diligence (DD) aspects of Loan Acceptance and Support & Admin related tasks of the Life loan management. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of property lending practices and processes and experience of AML and KYC within Property lending – admin focussed.
The responsibilities of a Support Officer will include:
1. Prepare primarily New Offer Letters for new borrowers prior to be assigned to the Case Managers.
2. Populating internal systems by copying across credit applications which were created and have subsequently seen the Offer Letter returned duly accepted. This is followed by Opening a Loan Account in Due Diligence (DD) and transferring/charging the funds in relation to the Arrangement Fee.
3. Assist the Case Managers by uploading of DD -Conditions in a newly opened Loan Account in DD and prepare Instructions to Professionals.
4. Collaborate with the Case Managers to collect the correct Documentation/ Nivo Validations to perform the required Business & Personal Credit Searches as part of CDD/KYC and collation of evidence and Land Registry searches in support of net worth calculations.
5. Keeping systems up to date with all insurance policies relating to specific borrower building projects; chasing borrowers for renewal details as necessary.
6. Copying all the paperwork to Virtual Cabinet relating to a cert payment drawing.
7. Inputting payments to the Barclays payment system pending introduction of the STP process.
8. Inputting & Approving invoice payments to be advanced by the Operations Support Manager
9. Entering documents into the Red Book in relation to security releases, collateral warranties, etc and arranging for these to be signed. All requests to scan and/or save documents/ emails to Virtual Cabinet are completed accurately and actioned same day.
10. Preparing Final Redemption Statements for checking by the Case Managers.
11. Prepare the Post Completion Checklist after a Loan in DD is Drawn; record any findings and correct the system where possible, prior to reverting the Case Managers for review/sign off.
12. Land Registry Searches and basic understanding to assist when required the CM’s with Net Worth calculations.
