Work Set Up: Hybrid (on-site in Barnsley and Wakefield with remote work flexibility)
Our client in the Information Technology and Services industry is looking for an IT Data Center Stock Take Lead to manage inventory audits and stock reconciliation across enterprise data center environments. This role requires hands-on experience with IT hardware, strong inventory control skills, and a solid understanding of data center operations to ensure accurate asset tracking and compliance.
Responsibilities
* Lead stock-taking activities across the Barnsley and Wakefield data center sites within defined timelines.
* Perform comprehensive inventory audits to ensure accuracy of asset records.
* Create and maintain detailed documentation and equipment tracking records.
* Identify discrepancies in inventory data and implement corrective actions to maintain data integrity.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective execution of stock-taking activities.
* Ensure compliance with data center standards and inventory procedures.
Qualifications
* Prior experience working within a data center environment.
* Strong working knowledge of IT hardware, including servers, storage systems, and networking equipment.
* Proven experience in inventory management and documentation processes.
* High attention to detail and ability to work independently.
* Experience in enterprise data center environments considered an advantage.
