Job Title: Behavioural Support Teaching Assistant
Our school, located in Northwich, is seeking a Behavioural Support Teaching Assistant to assist students in overcoming behavioural challenges and succeeding academically. The ideal candidate is calm, patient, and experienced in supporting students with behavioural needs, playing a crucial role in fostering a positive and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with challenging behaviours
2. Implement behaviour management strategies in collaboration with teachers
3. Assist students in developing social and emotional skills to enhance their interactions
Requirements:
* Experience supporting students with behavioural needs in an educational setting
* Knowledge of behaviour management strategies and de-escalation techniques
* Patience, resilience, and strong problem-solving skills

All pay rates are inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This position is temporary, with potential for permanency in the future.
